In China, the source of the legal ova is only from the ovum left by the women who do IVF, while other sources are illegal. Illegal ova donation may cause physical harm to the ova donor, including severe mechanical trauma, high-risk body infections, multiple complications, loss of partial or complete fertility, and even death. The design aims to let people understand the truth of illegal ova donation from many aspects.

With the above background, many young women are deceived by the bragging of illegal intermediaries that ova donation can easily exchange useless ovum for high rewards, which caused them to take risks and put their body in a precarious situation. Since this is a topic involving the gray industry and closely related to young women, I used lively colors to make this project look less cold.

The design form is unfolded to the public in the form of an exhibition where the process of ova retrieval will be restored and the three-dimensional book, as a demonstration prop, brings more direct experience to the audience through an operable reading format. In addition, the pamphlet for ovum conveyed the design purpose of the project to the participants in detail through paper media.

在中国，合法卵子来源仅限于做试管婴儿的女性剩下的卵子，而其他的渠道皆为不合法行为且对捐卵人的身体伤害非常大，通常都会造成严重的机械创伤并且伴随高风险的身体感染以及多项并发症，轻则丧失部分或全部生育能力，重则导致死亡。卵用的设计目的是想通过作品让人们从多方面了解非法捐卵的真相。

正是在这样的背景下，很多年轻女性被非法中介说得天花乱坠的言辞所蒙骗，在高额报酬的诱惑下铤而走险。本以为是以无用的卵子轻而易举地换取了高额酬劳，但殊不知已将自己的身体置入了岌岌可危的境地。由于这是一个涉及灰色产业的话题，但它同时又和年轻女性息息相关。所以在色彩选择上，我运用了亲切活泼的色彩让这个项目看起来不那么冰冷。

设计的形式是以展览的方式向公众展开，展览会通过项目的设计产出还原取卵的过程，其中卵用的立体书作为演示道具的同时通过可操作式的阅读形式带给参与者更加直接的体验。此外，卵用的折页则通过纸媒的方式更细致地向参与者传达项目设计目的。
